How do you turn a picture into a working marina map?
A useful marina map maker needs to preserve the shape of the harbour while leaving the owner in control of the inventory. In Studio, the geographic frame, berth objects and schematic features stay connected as you change the presentation.
Use the source image as a reference, review suggested boat and free-space objects, then refine the layout. A clean schematic is useful for the office and for guests, but the underlying berth positions, capacities and prices should remain deliberate records rather than details painted into an image.

Set the frame
Choose the marina location and map span, or upload an existing aerial image or plan. Confirm the reference before detecting or drawing objects.

Arrange the berths
Inspect candidates, approve the useful ones and correct the rest. Rotate, align and normalize selected boat icons; set real vessel limits and rates for the berth records.

Choose the presentation
Keep a source-image view, edit a vector schematic or request an AI plan image. The saved berth overlay can remain visible across the views.
Three ways to read the same layout
Editable schematic
Vector features and berth objects stay editable on the canvas. Choose a cartographic, blueprint or illustrated style, then adjust the layout where it needs attention.
Generated plan image
An optional image generation request can create another presentation of the marina. Review the result against the source; berth records and overlays remain the basis for inventory.
AI scans and image generation depend on the configured provider. Results can be incomplete or inaccurate; a finished-looking image is not proof of safe geometry or availability.
Before you start
A few practical questions.
Can I edit a schematic after generating it?
The vector schematic and berth objects can be edited in Studio. A generated raster plan is an image background; edit the canvas objects over it rather than treating every painted detail as a vector object.
Can I close the tab during an AI map job?
Saved-marina scan, environment and overview jobs run through a background queue. Reopen Studio to inspect the result and apply it. If the worker is interrupted, the job shows a failure and an explicit retry option; outdated results cannot silently replace a changed layout.
